In yesterday's blog post, I showed you how I made the baby shower invitation, gift bag, gift card and name tags. If you missed it, you can read it here. Today, I will show you how I created the treat holder and a banner.
The cute fox from the Foxy Friends Stamp Set and coordinating Fox Builder Punch is on the front of the treat holder made with the White Gift Boxes. She is sporting a sweet bow from the Whisper White Thick Baker's Twine. Did you know the White Gift Boxes carried over from the Holiday Catalog?
My favorite thing about the White Gift Boxes is this acetate sleeve. It comes folded flat and it fits inside any of the 6" x 6" embossing folders. I used the Woodland Embossing Folder to keep with the theme. I tied the Blushing Bride 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon around the acetate sleeve into a bow. The acetate sleeve slips over the white box.
I filled a 3" x 6" Gusseted Cellophane Bag with trail mix and tied it with a double bow of Whisper White Thick Baker's Twine. An Oval Framelit, from Smoky Slate Cardstock, had a 1" Punch on one end and then folded. The "thank you" is from the Happy Happenings Stamp Set. I was going for the baby bib look on the tag.
Here is the back of the cellophane bag where you can see the fold better. I slipped the finished baby bib over the top of the knotted bag. The treat bag easily fits inside the White Gift Box.
See how gorgeous the embossing on the acetate sleeve looks around the White Gift Box? The finished treat boxes are perfect to use as a place setting at the table. You could add a tag to the box with each person's name on it.
The banner base is Basic Gray Cardstock hearts from the Sweet & Sassy Framelits. I punched two holes at the top of the hearts with the 1/8" Handheld Circle Punch. I threaded the 5/8" Organza Ribbon through the holes.
The hearts were topped with the Lace Doilies that were attached with Glue Dots. The word "baby" was cut with the Large Letters Framelits from Blush Blossom Cardstock. They were attached with Dimensionals. Banners are great for decorating a wall or the front of a table.
Between yesterday's blog post and today's, you now have ideas on how to create a woodlands theme baby shower. What better gift can you give a mom-to-be than a handmade, personalized shower?

It's a thankful Thursday today. I had dinner last night with a friend and then did the late-night grocery store run afterwards. And, today I'm visiting my friend, who is rehabbing in a nursing home. There is nothing like being with friends, right?
