When I heard my cousin was celebrating her 80th birthday today, I had to design a unique birthday card for her in between cooking for our Easter guests this weekend. The Large Numbers Framelits took center stage for this milestone birthday card. It wasn't until I finished her card that I realized there is no rubber stamping on it.
Gold was definitely on the agenda when designing this card. I attached a piece of the Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate to the Basic Black Cardstock using the Fine Tip Glue Pen. I randomly put tiny dots of the glue on the foil design, so you cannot see glue on the acetate. The next layer is from a Gold Foil Sheet.
A Basic Black Scallop Layering Circle Framelit has a Whisper White Circle Framelit attached to it with SNAIL Adhesive. The "80" from the Large Numbers Framelits are also from the Gold Foil Sheets and embossed in the Softly Falling Embossing Folder put through the Big Shot. They were attached with the Fine Tip Glue Pen.
If you live in the United States, I would love to be your Stampin' Up! demonstrator. You can order your papercrafting supplies in my online store here.
This is my cousin, Deanna. She has a heart of gold and treats everyone with kindness. It is hard to believe that she is my oldest-living relative. Thankfully, she has a great memory, as I'm always asking her family history questions.
It is a tender Tuesday for me today, as I think about my special cousin!
