Break time! I'm in the midst of finishing 64 swap cards for a Holiday Catalog Card Swap tonight. Making anything repetitive is a BIG challenge for me. When I saw today's Mojo Monday email, I had a wee bit of fun before returning back to the repetitive task.
Here is this week's sketch. You can click on the sketch and it will take you to the Mojo Monday website. Why don't you join along with me and share your creativity with others.
I love making the Tall & Skinny cards (3 1/2" x 5 1/2"). After I finished my card, I realized that I also used the Among the Branches Stamp Set for last week's Mojo Monday sketch. Hmm... Last week's card sketch was Halloween-themed. This week's is Thanksgiving-themed. So next week's will be Christmas-themed. Good thing this stamp set has those three holidays in it. I wish I could say I had this all planned out, but I didn't. But let's pretend I did!
As you can tell, I was the crazy sponging queen. Every element of this simple card is sponged with the Sahara Sand Ink Pad. The words "Autumn Wishes" are a circle image, but I cut them into a rectangle.
If the Woodland Embossing Folder is not on your Wish List, we better have a chat! There is so much you can do with it. Demonstrators asked for this style of embossing folder and Stampin' Up! came through with this beautiful 6" x 6" embossing folder.
One of the trends in papercrafting is making loops with Baker's Twine, Metallic Thread, Linen Thread and Cording Trim. Behind the words "Autumn Wishes" are six Dimensionals. I wrapped Linen Thread around three of my fingers to make big loops. I put the loops on top of the Dimensionals and, randomly arranged them and flipped it over to put on my card. Done!
Only one more day and you can order these items on your Holiday Catalog Wish List:
139823 Among the Branches Stamp Set $17.00
