Welcome to this month's Blog Hop featuring projects about #imbringingbirthdaysback. Sending birthday greetings on social media isn't the same as sending someone a handmade birthday card. Making handmade cards doesn't have to be a labor-intensive project. My advice is to pick simple layouts and make multiple cards. It takes almost the same amount of time to make two cards as it does to make one card.
Here are three simple layouts that I like to use for birthday cards. You will notice they use similar supplies, but they all look different. The color scheme I selected is black, white and gold.
The Gold Foil adds a touch of elegance to these cards, which hopefully makes the recipient feel extra-special. Remember, simple cards actually get made. Complicated cards rarely get finished.
