A Whole Lot of Appreciation Cards using Friendly Wishes Stamp Set

There are times when I need to make a lot of cards quickly. They have to be simple, yet look nice. Lucky for me, my team member, Denise recently gave me a card, which inspired me to design this card using the Friendly Wishes Stamp Set.

 

 

I turned on the TV while making these cards (a rare occurrence). It helps keep me focused on finishing repetitious projects. One hour, 12 cards are done!

 

 

I used a 2" Circle Punch of Whisper White Cardstock for the words and a Basic Black Cardstock frame from the Layering Circles Framelits. This was adhered with Dimensionals on top of three strips of the Pop Of Pink Washi Tape. An Enamel Shape finishes off the card.

 

Directions:

• Base of Card - Whisper White Cardstock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"
• Second Layer - Basic Black Cardstock 4" x 5 1/4" 
• Third Layer - Melon Mambo Cardstock 3 3/4" x 5"
• Fourth Layer - Whisper White Cardstock 3 1/2" x 4 3/4"

Birthday Card using the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies

The Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies may be in the Holiday Catalog, but they aren't just for holiday cards. I decided to make a birthday card using them. Lucky for me, I had help with this card from a team member, Debbie. She made the top part of the card and I made the bottom part of the card. We work well together!

 

The Whisper White Cardstock banner has dots made with a Sponge Dauber inked in a Crumb Cake Ink Pad. Adding a Gold Foil "happy" from the Hello You Thinlits Dies on the banner adds a glitzy focal point.

 

The pine cones and pine branches are the perfect accents on this card.
