Welcome to this month's Blog Hop featuring projects about Handmade Holidays. My project is for the forgotten holiday. You know, the one between Halloween and Christmas? That's right, Thanksgiving! If you are hosting Thanksgiving, this frame would look lovely on the table. If you aren't hosting Thanksgiving, this would make a wonderful gift for the host. By giving a nice host gift, you have a better change of getting invited back next year. Right?
- The frame is 5 3/4" x 7 3/4". I removed the glass and added thin cardboard.
- The background is stamped with the Timeless Textures Stamp Set in Smoky Slate Ink on Whisper White Cardstock.
- By lightly sponging the edges of all the ovals with Smoky Slate Ink, the pumpkins look more realistic.
- To make the word "give" look larger, I spaced the letters further apart.
A bit of Silver Metallic Thread, a Silver Metallic Sequin and a Silver Satin Ribbon finish off this frame.
