Welcome to this month's Blog Hop featuring projects using this Color Challenge:
Don't these three colors remind you of Spring? They inspired me to design an Easter scrapbook layout.
As I continue on my goal to get caught up with scrapbooking, I found the only photograph from an Easter morning with three of my siblings. Someone cut it down to about 3" x 3". I'm not sure who did this or why they did this. My challenge was to design a 12" x 12" scrapbook page for this small photograph.
I decided to use three scalloped Square Framelit Dies in the three challenge colors, with the photograph in the center. I also randomly stamped images from the Timeless Textures Stamp Set in the three challenge colors on the 12" x 12" sheet of Whisper White Cardstock.
Stamp the fleur-de-lis image from the Timeless Textures Stamp Set in a Peekaboo Peach Ink Pad. Stamp off the image once on scratch paper and then stamp randomly on the Peekaboo Peach Cardstock scallop square.
The egg was stamped in the three challenge colors on a scrap piece of Whisper White Cardstock using the small rectangle image in the Timeless Textures Stamp Set. Then it was cut out using the Layering Ovals Framelits in the Big Shot.
The Happy Easter image is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set and was stamped in Peekaboo Peach Ink on a scrap piece of Whisper White Cardstock. It was punched out with the Classic Label Punch. Then I inserted each end inside the 1/2" Circle Punch to round both ends. It is attached with Dimensionals.
SNAIL Adhesive was used to attach the photograph to the Pear Pizzazz Cardstock scallop square.
Stamp the fleur-de-lis image from the Timeless Textures Stamp Set in a Flirty Flamingo Ink Pad. Stamp off the image once on scratch paper and then stamp randomly on the Flirty Flamingo Cardstock scallop square.
White Baker's Twine was wrapped around and tied into a bow to the top of the scallop square. A small flower and leaf from the Flourish Thinlits Dies were attached with the Fine Tip Glue Pen. A Metallic Enamel Shape was put in the center of the flower.
The journaling was printed on Vellum Cardstock and cut to 4" x 4 1/4". The three flowers from the Flourish Thinlits Dies are holding the Vellum in place with the Fine Tip Glue Pen. Metallic Enamel Shapes are in the center of the flowers.
