Do you tend to gravitate to certain colors and use them over and over again? You all know that I do, so I went outside of the box for today's project. I dusted off my Peekaboo Peach Ink Pad and Cardstock. And, I'll tell you why. I wanted to use my new roll of Peekaboo Peach 5/8" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon. I designed this card to use that ribbon and included the Label Me Pretty Stamp Set and the Marbled Background Stamp.
The color scheme is Very Vanilla, Early Espresso and Peekaboo Peach. Because the Marbled Background could overtake this card, I broke it up by making a window using a scalloped Oval Layering Framelit. That provided the perfect accent for the sentiment punched out with the Pretty Label Punch.
The Marbled Background Stamp was designed to imitate the shaving cream technique. That is a fun technique, but it is messy and time-consuming. I used only the Peekaboo Peach Ink Pad on the Marbled Background Stamp. You could add multiple colors of ink to the Marbled Background Stamp by using Sponges or Sponge Daubers.
The sentiment was randomly colored with a Peekaboo Peach Marker and a few Pearls were added to it. It is attached with Dimensionals inside the scalloped window. A bow from the Peekaboo Peach 5/8" Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon was attached with a Glue Dot and is the perfect accent to finish this card.
