In preparation for my team meeting on Sunday, I finished making fifteen of the 3" x 4" cards that I will be swapping with them. The swap guidelines are to use a stamp set from the Annual Catalog and no sentiment.
Seeing all the cards lined up together always gives me a sense of accomplishment.
My small swap card was created using the Crafting Forever Stamp Set. The image was heat embossed with a VersaMark Ink Pad, Copper Embossing Powder and a Heat Tool. Is there anyone who doesn't love heat embossing?
Here is my final design of turning my small card into a large card. My team members can copy my design or create their own design with my small card.
Card Base: 4 1/4" x 11" Dapper Denim Cardstock, scored at 5 1/2"
First Layer: 4" x 5 1/4" Whisper White Cardstock
Second Layer: 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" Dapper Denim Cardstock
Third Layer: 3" x 4" Copper Foil Sheet. Place inside the Polka Dot Basics Embossing Folder and put through the Big Shot. Tie about 9 inches of the Whisper White 3/8" Classic Weave Ribbon around it.
Fourth Layer: Lots of Labels Framelit cut from Whisper White Cardstock through the Big Shot. Attach with Dimensionals.
Fifth Layer: Layering Ovals Framelit cut from Dapper Denim Cardstock through the Big Shot. Attach with Dimensionals.
Sixth Layer: Layering Ovals Framelit cut from Whisper White Cardstock through the Big Shot. The sentiment is from the Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set and was stamped in Dapper Denim Ink.
It is turning into a sunny, 50 degree day in Minnesota. Yay! We had a lovely Thanksgiving celebration. I hope you all did too. All our Christmas shopping is done. Our Christmas decorating is done. We even got our Christmas cards in the mail yesterday. Well, the first round. Unfortunately, I didn't order enough cards and had to quickly order more. So the second round of cards will be going out soon. Trust me when I say this is highly unusual for us to be so early with the Christmas preparations. It is nice to not feel overwhelmed or stressed. We are now able to leisurely do some holiday baking and enjoy time with family and friends during December. Thank you for stopping by. I hope you are having a top-notch Tuesday!!!
