If you aren't familiar with the term "card candy", let me explain. Card candy is a small piece of art that is added to complete a handmade card. My team meeting is on Sunday and we are having a card candy swap. We decided our card candy would be about 3" x 4" in size, have two layers and it can be any shape. The theme for Sunday's swap is Spring. For my swap, I decided to use the Flying Home Stamp Set, on page 41 of the Occasions Catalog.
The image was stamped in Basic Gray Ink on Whisper White Cardstock and colored with Stampin' Blends. It was cut out with a circle Stitched Shapes Framelit that was put through the Big Shot. Clear Wink of Stella was brushed over the entire circle and air dried for about 20-30 minutes.
The image was attached to a scalloped Pear Pizzazz Cardstock that was cut out with a Layering Circle Framelit that was put through the Big Shot.
Card Base: 4 1/4" x 11" Whisper White Cardstock, scored at 5 1/2".
First Layer: 3 1/4" x 5 1/4" Daffodil Delight Cardstock
Second Layer: 3 1/8" x 5 1/8" Whisper White Cardstock
Third Layer: 3" x 5" Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper
The final touches to this card are a small Linen Thread bow (attached with Multipurpose Glue) and four Pearl Jewels.

Thank you to everyone who attended the Occasions and Sale-a-Bration Catalogs Open House on Saturday. It was so busy that I didn't have time to take any photographs. Thankfully, my team member, Sandy, did. Have a wild and wonderful Wednesday!!!
