As I mentioned in my blog post yesterday (read it here), my team meeting is on Sunday. Today, I'm sharing a second set of 3" x 4" cards for our card swap. I again used the Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Set, but on this card I used the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper.
These 30 swap birthday cards are done. Whew! The best part of this card is I used the Basket Weave Embossing Folder for the first time. Squee! It is part of the Blossoming Basket Bundle in the new Sale-a-Bration Flyer. It reminds me of my Longaberger baskets scattered throughout my house.
Card Base: 4 1/4" x 11" Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock, scored at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2". Fold at the 5 1/2" score line first. Then fold the 2 3/4" score line to the inside and adhere together.
First Layer: 2 1/2" x 4" Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock, placed inside the Basket Weave Embossing Folder and put through the Big Shot. Attach to the folded layer on the Card Base. Wrap a piece of the Whisper White 1/4" Organza Ribbon around and tie into a bow.
Second Layer: 3" x 4" Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
Third Layer: 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock
Fourth Layer: 1" x 2 3/4" Whisper White Cardstock, cut diagonally. Place inside the Basket Weave Embossing Folder and put through the Big Shot. Attach to the Third Layer.
Fifth Layer: Starburst Punch from Vellum Cardstock. Attach with Dimensionals.
Sixth Layer: 2" Circle Punch from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock
Seventh Layer: 1 3/4" Circle Punch from the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper. Use Clear Wink of Stella on the center of the flower.
Eighth Layer: Stamp sentiment in Rich Razzleberry Ink and punch out with the Classic Label Punch. Attach to the front with Glue Dots. Add a Basic Pearl on one end.
Inside Card: 4" x 5 1/4" Whisper White Cardstock
Today, I'm having lunch with another friend. We are going to a new Vietnamese restaurant, which will be fun. Then, it's back home to start designing cards for next month's events. I have a few ideas, but need to finalize them. And, tonight I will be attending our oldest grandgirl's honors orchestra concert. So proud of her. Have a worthwhile Wednesday!!! Thank you for stopping by my blog today!
