Fall is quickly disappearing in Minnesota. There is frost in the morning and some of the trees don't have any leaves on them. In my desperate attempt to enjoy Fall a bit more, here is today's project using the Rooted in Nature Stamp Set. The color scheme is Soft Suede, Mango Melody, Cajun Craze and Whisper White.
This card was an inspiration from a card I made at Connie Thompson's recent stamp-a-stack. Of course, I had to make some changes to claim it as my own.
Normally, I don't decorate the inside of my cards, but I did with this one.
Card Base: 4 1/4" x 11" Soft Suede Cardstock, scored at 5 1/2".
First Layer: 4" x 5 1/4" Mango Melody Cardstock
Second Layer: 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" Whisper White Cardstock. Stamp the leaf image in Mango Melody and Cajun Craze Ink.
Third Layer: Place a scalloped Layering Oval Framelit on a scrap of Soft Suede Cardstock and put through the Big Shot. Attach with Dimensionals.
Fourth Layer: Place a Layering Oval Framelit on a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock and put through the Big Shot. Stamp the sentiment in Soft Suede Ink.
