Oh my goodness! I forgot to post these card swaps that I created in December. This was the first time I used the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies found on page 28 of the Occasions Catalog. Making a frame from two of these dies added beautiful detail to these cards.
The Lasting Lily Stamp Set is stunning and has a great assortment of different sentiments. This is a free Sale-a-Bration item you can get with a $100 order (before s/h & tax). The color scheme I used was Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Pear Pizzazz and Blushing Bride.
Card Base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Crumb Cake Cardstock, scored at 4 1/4"
First Layer: 3 5/8" x 5" Blushing Bride Cardstock
Second Layer: 3" x 4 1/2" Very Vanilla Cardstock. Stamp the stem in Pear Pizzazz Ink and the lily in Blushing Bride Ink. Stamp the lily image again and set aside.
Third Layer: Very Vanilla Cardstock frame created with two Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies put through the Big Shot.
Fourth Layer: Crumb Cake Cardstock on the scalloped Oval Layering Framelit and put through the Big Shot. Attach with Dimensionals.
Fifth Layer: Very Vanilla Cardstock on the Oval Layering Framelit and put through the Big Shot. Stamp the sentiment in Crumb Cake Ink.
Use Paper Snips to cut out the second lily image. Press a Sponge in the Blushing Bride Ink Pad and brush along the edges of the lily. Attach it with Dimensionals on top of the other lily image. The final touch is to add three Basic Rhinestone Jewels.
(L-R): Me, Donna, Lisa
Last Sunday, Lisa Schultz and I gave a presentation at the Stamp Share for Leaders event. Donna Griffith, from the Stampin' Up! Home Office, was at the meeting, along with 75 other demonstrators.
A former Stampin' Up! demonstrator's son ran away Tuesday evening in Marshalltown, Iowa. The Brown family woke up at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday and discovered Corey wasn’t in his bedroom. Home security video showed him leaving the home the evening before. If you see Corey or know anything about his disappearance, please contact the Marshalltown Police Department. I would appreciate if you would keep this devastated family in your prayers. Thank you!
