Today's card features the Woven Heirlooms Stamp Set, which is new to the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. This stamp set is perfect for weddings, sympathy and thinking of you cards. Plus, it has great images for creating backgrounds.
Today's card also uses the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set and coordinating Butterfly Duet Punch, which were in the 2019 Occasions Catalog and returned to the Annual Catalog. Yippee!
The color scheme uses a new In Color, Rococo Rose, plus an old favorite, Crumb Cake. When designing this card, I was going for a peaceful sympathy card. It evolved into that, plus a subtle shabby look.
Card Base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Rococo Rose Cardstock, scored at 4 1/4".
First Layer: 4" x 5 1/4" Rococo Rose Cardstock. Use a Stamping Sponge in the Rococo Rose Ink Pad and brush the ink along the four edges.
Second Layer: 2 1/2" x 4" Stitched Rectangles Framelit cut from Crumb Cake Cardstock. Stamp the sentiment in Rococo Rose Ink and stamp it various times. Use a Stamping Sponge in the Rococo Rose Ink Pad and lightly rub over the rectangle. Use a Stamping Sponge in the Crumb Cake Ink Pad and brush the ink along the four edges. Stamp the "thinking of you" sentiment in Crumb Cake Ink near the bottom of the First Layer. Attach to the First Layer.
On a scrap piece of Rococo Rose Cardstock, use Crumb Cake Ink and stamp the butterfly images. Punch them out with the Butterfly Duet Punch. Use a Stamping Sponge in the Rococo Rose Ink Pad and heavily brush the ink along the butterfly edges. Attach with Mini Dimensionals.
Here are the 20 card swaps that I made using this design.
