While waiting for my Holiday Catalog order to arrive, I decided to create some projects with the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper. It has beautiful images that make any project look extra-special.
Today's project is a card where I did a lot of fussy cutting. A rarity for me! I was relaxing while watching TV one evening. My Paper Snips jumped into my hand and the rest is history.
No stamping was done on this card. I love customizing card sentiments when I need one.
Card Base: 4 1/4" x 11" Whisper White Cardstock, scored at 5 1/2".
First Layer: 4" x 5 1/4" Petal Pink Cardstock
Second Layer: 3 1/4" x 5 1/4" Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper (DSP). Here is how you get the "upside V". Center the Paper Snips at the bottom of the DSP and cut up to about an inch. Place the Paper Snips in the right-hand corner of the DSP and cut up to the one inch mark. Do the same on the left side.
Third Layer: Scrap of Mossy Meadow Cardstock. Place Layering Circle Die on cardstock and put through a Die Cutting Machine. Attach with Mini Dimensionals to the Second Layer.
Fourth Layer: Scrap of DSP. Place Layering Circle Die on DSP and put through a Die Cutting Machine. Attach to the Third Layer.
Fifth Layer: Scrap of DSP that matches the Fourth Layer. Use Paper Snips to cut out the flower images. Attach with Mini Dimensionals to the Fourth Layer.
The final touches are to add Basic Pearls and a bow from the 5/8" Organdy Striped Ribbon.
