Today, I'm showing you the second project I created used the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper. If you missed the first project, you can see it here.
I'm not sure which Stampin' Up! demonstrator looked at this Designer Series Paper and decide to color it, but it was a brilliant idea!
These are the two pieces of the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper before I colored them with the Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Combo pack.
By coloring the flowers and stripes, I created my own unique Designer Series Paper.
Directions:
Card Base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Early Espresso Cardstock, scored at 4 1/4".
First Layer: 3 3/4" x 5" Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper (striped). Adhere to the bottom a 1 3/4" x 3 3/4" colored piece of Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper.
Second Layer: 1" x 3 3/4" Mossy Meadow Cardstock. Place the straight Stitched Nested Labels Die in the center of the cardstock and put through a Die Cutting Machine.
Third Layer: Scrap of Early Espresso Cardstock. Lay Stitched Nested Labels Die on cardstock and put through a Die Cutting Machine. Attach with Dimensionals.
Fourth Layer: Scrap of Daffodil Delight Cardstock. Lay Stitched Nested Labels Die on cardstock and put through a Die Cutting Machine. Stamp the sentiment in Early Espresso Ink. Use Paper Snips to cut out a yellow flower and attach with Mini Dimensionals. Tie two strands of the Mossy Meadow Linen Thread around the Die. Attach with SNAIL Adhesive.
Can you have too much stitching on a card? I think not!

Yesterday, I drove our oldest grandgirl to and from her precalculus class. I also got to spend some time with our middle grandgirl. School starts in a few weeks for them. Yikes! Thank you for stopping by my blog. Have a whimsical Wednesday!!!
