Welcome to this month's Blog Hop featuring projects about Octoberfest. Having festivities with family and friends during the Fall is a fun idea. And, anyone hosting an Octoberfest event would need to have some decorations. Today's project is a Fall wreath filled with different leaves from the Colorful Seasons and Rooted in Nature Stamp Sets.
Since I used seven leaf images, I used these seven ink colors: Early Espresso, Mossy Meadow, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler on Whisper White Cardstock. The images are cut out with the Seasonal Layers and Nature's Roots Dies. The leaves are layered together and gently bent to look more realistic. They are attached to a 7 1/4" wooden embroidery hoop with Mini Dimensionals and Glue Dots.
The embroidery hoop is attached with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to a 10" x 10" wooden base. The "hello fall" is from the Hand Lettered Prose Dies cut from Gold Foil Sheets. They are attached with Glue Dots.
The final touches are Sprig Punches from the Gold Foil Sheets, Linen Thread and Gold Faceted Gems. Let the Octoberfest festivities begin!
