Welcome to this month's Blog Hop featuring a variety of projects about either Tis the Season or sneak peeks of the upcoming Mini Catalog. My project is a card using the Lots of Cheer Stamp Set that can be used for a winter birthday card or as a Christmas card.
The square snowman is peeking out the oval window cut from the front of the card.
Card Base: 4 1/4" x 11" Whisper White Cardstock, scored at 5 1/2". Place a scalloped Layering Oval Framelit in the center of the front of the cardstock and cut it out by putting it through a die cutting machine. Save the oval framelit for another project. Put the front of the cardstock with the oval cutout inside the Scroll Embossing Folder and put through a die cutting machine.
First Layer: Stamp the snowman image in Black Memento Ink on a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock. Use Paper Snips to cut it out. Color the snowman using Coastal Cabana, Gorgeous Grape, Smoky Slate and Pumpkin Pie markers. Attach to the Card Base with Dimensionals.
The final touches are:
- Add Shimmery Crystal Effects on the nose and two bows.
- Place three Glitter Enamel Dots next to the snowman.
Now the snowman image shimmers and sparkles!
