Welcome to the Creative Inking Blog Hop where we are featuring projects about Summer Fun. Living in Minnesota, the Land of 10,000+ Lakes, summer is all about water. Whether it is fishing, boating or swimming, Minnesotan's love water.Today, I'm showing you two projects created with the Whale Done Bundle and the Whale of a Time 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (DSP). These products are all about water.
Did you know some of the whales printed on the DSP fit perfectly in the Whale Builder Punch? Brilliant move on Stampin' Up!'s part. I added some Dimensionals to the back of the whale to add. . .dimension (no surprise).
My squeal moment in making this card is when I put the DSP inside the Seabed Embossing Folder and put it through a die cutting & embossing machine. This magically turned the card into a WOW card! The texture added a realistic element. A few of the Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets were added for accents.
For this project, I used a 8 1/2" x 10" printer's tray that was in my craft stash. The DSP is so realistic that this was quite simple to make. The hardest thing was to decide which DSP to use!
I fussy cut the critters with Paper Snips and attached them with Dimensionals and Mini Dimensionals. I added the Whale of a Time Sequins to give it a little bling.
