Look no further! I have three unique Christmas gifts that you will be proud to give to anyone. Two of the gifts are ornaments and one gift is adorable note cards. Of course, all the gifts are wrapped in pretty packages. The majority of these projects are using supplies from the Trimming the Town Suite from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalog.
Isn't this the cutest package? Decorating it was simple by using a 2" x 8" and two 2" x 2" pieces of Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper (DSP) to completely cover the 2" x 2" x 2" Clear Tiny Treat Box. All the DSP is inside the box. The top of the box is decorated with a square Stitched Shapes Die from Old Olive Cardstock (attach with Dimensionals). The two trees are from Whisper White Cardstock and the Home Together Dies. The sentiment is cut with Paper Snips from the DSP. The ribbon slips between the Dimensionals and tied in a bow.
Inside the box is this adorable birdhouse ornament. I cut four of the houses from the Home Together Dies in Old Olive Cardstock. Lined the two tall sides with Poppy Parade Cardstock. The other two sides were cut down to fit. The roof is from 1 1/4" x 2 1/4" Misty Moonlight Cardstock put through the Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder. Thread fishing line in a needle and poke it through the roof and knot it. The wreaths and sentiments are from the DSP. Add some Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels and the Snowflake Sequins.
How adorable is this package? Decorating it was simple by cutting four 1" x 3 1/4" pieces of DSP for the sides of the Whisper White Mini Pizza Box. The top of the box is decorated with 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" Early Espresso Cardstock and 3" x 3" DSP. It has a coordinating Christmas tree from the Stitched Triangle Dies and a hand-cut tree stump. The sentiment is from the DSP and put on a Tasteful Label Die and Layering Circle Die. A tiny Linen Thread bow is the finishing touch.
On page 24 in the Mini Catalog, there are some paper trees standing by some of the projects. As I was looking at them, I wondered if I could make an ornament with those trees. I glanced at the Gold Hoop Embellishments laying on the table in my craft room. B-I-N-G-O! I knew exactly what I was going to do. Cut three of the trees from the Home Together Dies. Scored down the center of each tree. Used Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue to hold them together. Grabbed the needle with the fishing line and poked a hole at the top of the trees. Tied the fishing line to the hoop. Cut out two sentiments and used Glue Dots on the ends to keep them together. Added Basic Pearl Jewels to the tree. Done!
Isn't this elegant? It is the perfect gift for someone who needs last-minute holiday note cards. Decorating the top of the Gold Mini Pizza Box is a piece of Gold Foil Paper that was put inside the Winter Snow Embossing Folder. Added the All the Trimmings Ribbon and the sentiment from the DSP.
Inside are three 3" x 3" Whisper White note cards and envelopes. The note cards have a 2" x 3" piece of DSP, 3/4" x 3" Gold Foil Paper, Classic Label Punch from Whisper White Cardstock, the sentiment from the DSP and the All the Trimmings Embellishments.
I hope all these projects inspire you to get creative!

The mild winter weather in Minnesota is the best gift this year. We have only had one major snowfall and it has all melted. Temperatures in the high 40's means the hubby and I are out visiting local parks, lakes and soaking up the sunshine. Happy Friday to you and enjoy the weekend!!!
