It the time of the year to give away holiday treats. And, those treats can be dressed up in pretty holiday packaging. I have four packaging ideas to share with you today.
This is an Acetate Card Box. It can be used for more than holding standard-size greeting cards. Many different types of candy will fit in this box. Or you can be like me and squeeze a gigantic cookie inside.
A simple 3" x 7 1/2" belly band slips on and off this box. It is from Old Olive Cardstock that was placed inside the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder and put through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. The Whisper White Cardstock and Gold Foil paper were cut out with the Layering Circle Dies. The Whisper White Cardstock tree is from the Home Together Dies (cut three, score in the middle and adhere together). The Gold Metallic-Edge Ribbon was colored with Old Olive Blends. The sentiment is from the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper.
This is another Acetate Card Box. It is made to hold 3" x 3" greeting cards. As you can see, these peppermints fit perfectly. You probably could squeeze more into the box. I used a scalloped Layering Square Die on the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper. Used Paper Snips on Vellum Cardstock to cut a wide "v". Added a Whisper White Cardstock scalloped heart from the Heart Punch Pack. The birdhouse in Real Red Cardstock is from the Home Together Dies. The sentiment is cut from the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper. The final touch is the white dot from the All the Trimmings Embellishments.
Bag toppers are another quick and easy project to make. This one is using a Mosiac Gusseted Cellophane Bag, which is 4" x 7". The topper is 4 1/4" x 4 1/2" Basic Black Cardstock, folded in half. Fill the bag with a treat and add two staples to hold the topper on the bag. Add a 1 3/4" x 4 3/4" piece of Whisper White Cardstock that was placed inside the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder and put through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.
Attach a Tasteful Touches Die from the Silver Foil Paper with Dimensionals. Use Paper Snips to trim the sentiment from the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper. Add a Black Glittered bow and a couple of Rhinestones Basic Jewels.
This bag topper is on a 3" x 9" Printed Gusseted Cellophane Bag. The topper is a Stitched Rectangle Die in Whisper White Cardstock and folded in half. Fill the bag with a treat and add two staples to hold the topper on the bag. Adhere a 1 3/4" x 4 3/8" piece of the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper with a Whisper White Cardstock trees/hill out of the Home Together Dies.
Use Paper Snips to cut out the sentiment from the Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper. And, the final touch is to add the white dots from the All the Trimmings Embellishments.
I hope all these projects inspire you to get creative with your holiday treats!

Today, I will be wrapping all the Christmas presents. On Christmas Eve, our children and their families will be stopping by for a quick visit and to open gifts in our garage. No food or beverages. And, everyone will be wearing masks and be socially distanced. We are quite familiar with this routine because we have been doing it since March. We are so excited to see each other in person and celebrate Christmas in a new and different way. Have a wonderful Wednesday and a blessed Christmas celebration!!!
